Each package contains 15 shims, with three shims per sheet, allowing installers to customize the amount of adjustment required. Each individual shim provides approximately 1/16" of adjustment, while the innovative design allows the shims to be folded into a "Z" pattern to create a triple-thick shim for filling larger gaps when necessary.
The shims feature a slight wedge shape for improved control during installation and can be installed by simply backing out one hinge screw while leaving the door in place, saving time and effort. They can also be easily trimmed with a utility knife or side cutters to fit a variety of applications.
