Tremsil® 600 cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a durable, flexible rubber seal that accommodates movement caused by temperature changes, expansion, and contraction. Its neutral cure formulation makes it suitable for use on many common porous and nonporous building materials, providing reliable sealing performance in demanding construction and glazing environments.
This versatile silicone sealant offers excellent adhesion to aluminum, stainless steel, other metals, glass, plastics, rigid PVC, wood, brick, concrete, and painted surfaces. Its compatibility with a broad range of substrates makes it particularly useful for commercial glazing installations, high-performance window systems, door assemblies, and general construction joints.
Designed for professional glazing applications, Tremco® Tremsil® 600 can be applied using conventional cartridge dispensing equipment and is also suitable for automated glazing systems, including X-Y table equipment. This flexibility makes it an excellent choice for both on-site installation and high-volume window and door manufacturing operations.
The sealant has a tack-free time of less than 2 hours under appropriate application and curing conditions. Once cured, it remains flexible to help maintain a dependable seal as building materials experience normal movement.
Supplied in a convenient 300 mL cartridge, this black silicone sealant is sold individually, with 30 cartridges per case for larger projects and commercial applications.
Important: Tremsil® 600 is not paintable. Select the appropriate sealant colour before installation.
