This Kawneer 1786 Rim Exit Device features a latching mechanism designed for secure door operation. A 5/8" throw latch bolt located in the rim of the housing engages an aluminum jamb or removable mullion-mounted strike. When the touch bar is depressed from the interior, the latch bolt retracts, allowing quick and safe egress from the building.

Designed for single or double door applications, this exit device is suitable for medium and high traffic areas and is UL Listed, meeting commercial safety and performance requirements.
