POLYshim II Tape is a 100% solids, highly adhesive and elastic, cross-linked butyl preformed tape with a continuous integral EPDM shim. This integrated EPDM shim helps maintain accurate glass positioning, uniform edge clearances, and controlled compression within the glazing pocket, supporting long-term system durability and performance.

Designed specifically for compression glazing systems, POLYshim II Tape is used wherever high-performance glazing is required, including stick curtain wall systems, unitized curtain walls, panelized curtain walls, punched and ribbon window systems, strip windows, and sloped glazing applications. It is suitable for compression glazing of vision lites or panels in demanding commercial environments.

Highly adhesive and elastic, this glazing tape enhances installation efficiency while contributing to reliable structural and weather performance.

Important: DO NOT compression glaze glass with POLYshim II Tape having less than a 3 mm (1/8") shim thickness.
