Recognized as one of the most popular retrofit storm window systems, C-Sash framing is stronger than vinyl and more secure than magnetic systems. The frame accepts single or double strength glass or acrylic panels up to 1/8 inch thick, making it suitable for both recessed and surface-mounted storm window installations.
A pre-installed vinyl gasket securely holds the glass or acrylic in place, eliminating the need for adhesives commonly required with other storm window frames. Built-in pile weatherstripping helps reduce drafts by sealing gaps between the panel and the window frame.
The roll-formed aluminum body provides excellent rigidity while keeping the panel lightweight enough for convenient seasonal installation and removal.
